2011 R3 satria neo

How does a 1200kg, 145BHP, 7000RPM, Close Ratio boxed, Satria Neo sound?. The enthusiasts-for-enthusiasts at the R3 headquarters have just figured a new performance remedy for the current Satria Neo mostly through the 1.6 Campro S4PH engine. Available only in Fire-Red based on the CPS body, it will cost RM79,797.

More about the New R3 Satria Neo, the engine will breathe through a carbon-fiber box, through new, and re-profiled cams generating higher valve lifts governed by a remapped ECU, tuned for enthusiasts' looking to really trash the fiery-red hot-hatch. The exhaust manifolds are replaced with a high-flow 4-2-1 and the cam pulleys are now lightweight aluminium items for that extra shove.

Other performance upgrades include the all-important handling. No Ohlin's coilovers here but R3 is still serious on this one. New wheel alignment comprises of a perfected camber and toe setting which is said to significantly increase grip levels as well as steering feel. Riding 10mm lower on performance springs, body-roll on the R3 Neo is decreased yet adds to the look factor more than anything else.

For real enthusiasts looking to actually drive this thing, they'd appreciate the super soft Re001R Bridgestones wrapped on 16" Gunmetal R3 lightweight wheels and 500 Celsius high-temp brake pads for the routine Touge (hill drives).

You'll also get the R3 sports seats trimmed in Nappa leather and a 2 tone black interior with microfiber accents for that racey alcantara feel. Red stitching is also featured as well as matt-red air-con ducts with the standard-issue aluminiun pedals and gear knob.

Now available for immediate booking at all PROTON Edar showrooms in Peninsular Malaysia. Booking fee is RM2,000 and lucky early birds will be invited to the launch event and get photographed with R3's very own star drivers, Tengku Djan Ley and Faidzil Alang,
